Jillian Stibbard, Partner

Jillian is a member of the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.

Jillian worked as a Law Clerk at Baker Love whilst studying to be a Solicitor. During those years, she received exposure to and training in many and varied areas of law.

She became a partner at Baker Love in 1984. Her practice has evolved into matters resulting from relationship breakdown, including marriage, de facto and same sex relationships. Her skills cover all aspects of Court representation, divorces and separation, child matters, spousal maintenance, child support, property and financial settlements and drafting agreements. Jillian also practices in the area of Will and Deceased estate disputes.

In 2009, Jillian undertook the necessary training to qualify as a Collaborative Practitioner. 

Jillian enjoys a rural lifestyle and is interested in the environment and conservation matters. She has managed to balance motherhood and family life with the demands of a busy legal practice. She acknowledges that she could not have done so without the support of her husband and business partners at Baker Love Lawyers.
