New Migration Law Practice AnnouncedBaker Love Lawyers is pleased to announce that the firm has expanded into Migration Law, with solicitor Rebecca McKenzie becoming a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 1174712). |
|
Baker Love Lawyers knows that due to the significant skills shortages currently affecting the Australian labour market, some employers may need to look overseas to fill the gaps in their workforce. The firm has responded to this need by introducing its new Migration Law practice to aid clients looking to hire employees from overseas and also individuals and families seeking migration advice.
Baker Love partner Dean Frith states that, "the laws relating to migration are complex and technical. Baker Love identified a need for these services within the community and has responded to benefit our clients".
Through Rebecca McKenzie's status as a Registered Migration Agent, Baker Love is now equipped to handle all legal aspects of the migration process for the future employees of the businesses we service. In addition to providing legal advice and assistance in relation to skilled migration in the business and employment law context, Rebecca is also qualified to advise individuals and families with respect to their visa applications, including:
- Partners, Spouses or De Factos
- Student Visas
- Visitor Visas
As a qualified solicitor with extensive experience in employment law, Rebecca also offers clients a unique range of skills beyond that of a regular Registered Migration Agent.
"Engaging the services of a Registered Migration Agent who is also a solicitor can provide clients with the superior service that comes from our greater understanding of the complex laws surrounding migration and the broader employment law environment," says Rebecca.
